Conferences and Seminars
With a view to informing and spreading the crafts culture of which we are the custodians, in recent years we have provided our contribution and experience during events, conferences and fairs, describing our work of conservation and bookbinding.
Workshops
Since 1992, we have been regularly involved in exhibitions, fairs and activities in secondary and primary schools in Turin and Piedmont, with the aim of bringing the public closer to the craft of bookbinding and make known the richness of the craft.
In collaboration with professionals and cultural associations, we deal with themes such as: 1) introduction to bookbinding or seminars on specific techniques; 2) decoration of the leather and the binding; 3) gilding, marbling and paper decoration; 4) thematic routes on the book: papermaking, typographical printing, calligraphy, bookbinding and boxmaking
We can organize small workshop seminars on specific topics for small groups, also in English or French.
Contact us in the workshop in Via Orvieto for more information.
We have worked in collaboration with: Print Club Torino, Prova e Riprova of Turin, From the Sign to the Writing of Turin, Typographic Archive of Turin, Etsy Italia Team, Piero De Macchi, Massimo Polello, Italian Stories, Turin Educational.
